I am new to mining and going to start this wekk with a radeon 7870.
I think I am going to mine Litecoin and BTB(BitBar).
Which software do you with is better and why (if any): reaper or cgminer (or maybe diablominer?)

Thanks in advance!

I would use cgminer 3.7.2 (later versions drop support for GPU mining).

Thanks.

Do you know why did they drop support for GPU? Isn't it the main mining method (except ASICS, etc).

I'm still using cgminer 2.11.4! I have hd 5830, and still its the best with it. 323khash/s at 978mhz/1188mhz (default 800/1000) all time. (worksize=256 thread-concurrency 8000)
