I dont think it will have a future after all mining is stopped.
No reason for all miners to stop. So far the difficulty is steadily increasing, it mean mining popularity increases yess, that's true . True because they have invested into the mining devices lol

Nobody absolutely nobody can guarantee you that Bitcoin would last more than 10-20 years. Next, 4-5 years seem bright though, can't say if a better alternative pops up then.
It US bans it then its the end of bitcoin Don't think us will ban it lol

No reason for all miners to stop. So far the difficulty is steadily increasing, it mean mining popularity increases But if the difficulty is increasing isn't it harder for the miner to mine ?

Bitcoins have a good future in the next years.
Altcoins do play crucial roles along with bitcoins.

At the moment Bitcoin is too hard to understand to go mainstream, Bitcoin is treated as an investment, and being the first significant player in the market is something both helps and hinders Bitcoin. My main expectation is that over the next few years we will see a range of cryptocurrencies and potentially other forms of digital currency develop, we have all seen posts on some of the issues inherent in Bitcoin's code and processes to know that it is not perfect. I'm not saying any currency ever will be, but I do believe a more mainstream currency will eventually take the main stage. Investing in Bitcoin now and expecting value to settle between $500-$2000 over the next few years I would put my money on keeping eyes open on what is happening with other currencies and as soon as big tech/retailspublicly back these exchange bitcoins for what will likely be the digital currency of the future.

Yes, very risky investment, but without risk you cant have high potential profit What's the risk ? The risk is you can lose all the money you put into Bitcoin if you lose your coins or the markets crash and stabilise at a low price. But the opposite is also true; you could make a helluva lot of money. Bitcoin does have a future, but maybe it wont last forever, or maybe it will be the future. I think 2014 is going to be the year of Bitcoin as it gains more mainstream acceptance and more merchants start accepting it.

It is because media hype about Bitcoin bubble graph. It would be better explainng why Bitcoin is necessary instead
