ok like the title says i need help with my jalapeno. I have all the stuff to flash the unit and have flashed a few other units without any issues but this is a test machine i picked up for dirt cheap because one of the procs has a crack going right accross the top of the chip so only 1 chip works. Heres what i have done so far:

1. connect avr dragon to the unit

2. power the unit on and plug in the avr flasher

3. select the firmware file in the amtelstudio app and flash

well thats where i have issues…..i used all 4 firmwares provided by the site hosting cgminer. When i use 1.2.5 the front light flashes slow like it should then a quick bust of flashing light like normal but when i go to mine it says an error about out of memory or whatever. when i flash it using any of the 3 others like 7,8,or 9 the front light does not flash slow with a quick burst before becoming 100% steady waiting to mine…..instead it flashes fast as soon as it turns on. When i revert back to 1.2.5 it looks like its working again until i try to mine.

i have no idea what the issue is and people say to others that maybe they need to select #jalapeno or whatever and add // to the little single section which i did but how do i even compile the damn firmware?!?! if someone has a precompiled jalapeno firmware that would be great cause the 4 that were provided do not work for this unit….maybe its because 1 proc is dead??

I know im new and all but i hope someones willing to help me out cause its just a paperweight right now and i cant get the answers i need by searching online….
