Hey guys, I new to this end of the internet, but I wanted to ask if I'm using a stock Alienware M11x, with a NVidia GT 335M, 4 Gigs of RAM and a Core 2 Duo, should I be topping out at 11 Megs a second? I got some pretty good hustle on Folding@Home, and I've heard of people getting into the 40 Meg ballpark with this model. Is there some secret sauce I'm missing?

Your card doesn't show up here, but if 350m gets 17MH, your number seem OK...

Remember that NVIDIA cards are much worse than ATI for mining. Folding@home is a different game...

Can't find a GT 335M, but the comparison list at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison appears to state that a 330M will mine at about 7 MH/s.

You can try overclocking, but something that really helped me is to use the GUIminer and run the CUDA miner. My Nvidia GTX 460 hits 60+ MH/s. It still has absolutely NOTHING on the HDs from ATI, but I didn't have to pay anything extra for it.

Thanks guys. CUDA seems to be helping, now averaging 11.7 Megs, so not that big a jump,  but it's seems to be more consistent rather than bouncing around. Aggression nearly baked the poor thing, so it looks like I'm playing Gox Market then. Thanks bros.

There are two different models of the GT335M card. The model on the second revision card has more shader IIRC.

I believe I got 17 million hashes per second. Its been about a month tho.

360m here, only get 22-30Mhash/s, so yea...that's about right.

2x 4core i7 1.6Ghz (2.8Ghz Overclocked).
4Gb RAM
500Gb HDD

Well, after a overnight with aggression turned on, I got 12Mh/s and about .01BTC, making me a dime richer in USD...

Like a boss.

PS: Am I shooting myself in the foot by enabling both cores?
