hi in my place here server psu's are available but the breakout boards are rare and expensive
so can i  connect the 8 pin cables directly to the psu ??

No, you cannot connect 6pin directly to the PSU.  I mean, technically yes as on the output you get +12 and GND but you really need a breakout board (you don't want to solder the wires, don't you?).  They are not rare and definitely not expensive.  I used to pay $4 per one board (15 x 6pin ports).

Solder 12AWG wires on the live and neutral, split each wire for 300-400W max and solder 6+2-pin cables there. You need to find out how to jump start the PSU, of course.
