I'd recommend you getting Windows on that thing using Boot Camp. It's just so much better for many things. You could also try using Wine, but it'd bottleneck.

Why don't you run the simple win client by running windows in "Parallel Desktop".

The one for Mac is not out yet since the coin just came out yesterday!

Telling someone to run something in a virtual machine is not a solution for someone looking for a native application.  That adds a lot of overhead just to run a small program.  I am working on compiling it for Qt.  There will be a mac version soon.

Update, this is taking too long. The original source code is REALLY out of date from the main bitcoin source tree.  This is some clone from some really old clone.  Not sure why the coin creator would take that route, but at this point, for 5000 Doge, its just not worth any more of my time.

Best of luck.

Waiting didn't do it.

This seems to do the trick: ./dogecoin-qt -addnode=95.85.29.144 -addnode=162.243.113.110 -addnode=146.185.181.114

Another bump for the Mac wallet.

It's not really fair to any group of users who are left out of the initial mining.

I would like to work on development of a polymorphic altcoin that maintains a stable value and is more resistant to fraud.
