Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Ahhh I see.  So essentially,  I always win as long as there's x amount of deposits placed after me, and probably only a few bids placed before the last bid will end up losing.  And the last bid wins jackpot if nobody else bids for 24 hours.
