I am on Windows 8. I'm running Bitcoin qt, but it won't synchrone more blocks. I'm stuck with 13 weeks left. How do I resolve this? Thank you.

Are you sure you're stuck?

It might just take a long time so you don't see much progress or your internet connection might be down.

Try restart computer, and check if  last downloaded block in Bitcoin-qt is different from newest block at blockchain.info

Switch to Windows 7 ASAP! No seriously, win 8 is a failed OS.

About the QT, leave it there it will download the blockchain in few hours and will be fine.

I'll try that. Does the bitcoin qt developers set up support for their clients?

Maybe you have connected to crap peers.
Try to close the program, and then reopen it.
