If there is already a thread for this please post the link.

I use coinbase, they have no option to buy and sell while you're away.
What options are there to do this?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

You mean options at coinbase specifically, or options to buy and sell while you're away at other services?

At coinbase. The low usually hits when I'm asleep. I'd like to set a price where it buys (or sells) for me. I've posts about Bots. I'm looking for anything to complete this task for me while away from coinbase.

Use a more advanced exchange and place a limit order.

Something I'd be interested in too. I have been just buying btc to get  x amount for long term and as I am getting close to hitting that goal I would like to know what other Americans are using for trading. Perhaps a list of what others (sites/exchanges) recommend? thx

The problem is the way that coinbase makes their orders isn't really setup for limit orders...

That's not their only problem. No order options and DAYS (it's been 5 days for each of my orders to post, Unacceptable!) before the coin you buy or sell is posted/verified. That makes no sense to me at all because you go through a serious process to verify your account with them and who you are and then another verification when you link your bank account.

Are there any sites out there, they don't have to be American, where you can buy/sell and the transactions are immediate or within a couple hours.
Are there any sites that when you sell your account holds those available funds?

It's maddening to sit here watching the money I could have made from trading not happen because their systems takes so long.
If they are going to charge a coinbase fee and bank fee these transactions should be immediate or within a couple hrs tops.

I'm pissed but I'm sure you caught that in the tone of this rant!

I've looked at other sites and all want a wire transfer to deposit (around 4 days) but none have directly deposit for withdrawls.

Camp BX, they have buy/sell options.
$1000 is daily limit but you can go through their verification process and get that raised.
There ACH to deposit is in beta testing stage.
ACH for withdrawl takes 2-3 days.

Looks much better than coinbase at this point in time.
If coinbase was to implement an intant buy/sell time and options they would be the top site.
