It adjusts itself to value of bitcoin...it was a waste of time even before. Try some other ways. Wink

It can still be worth it if the price keeps going up. Although, I suggest you check out http://free-btc.net.tf for higher paying faucets.

BTC value up -> Rewards down. BTC value down -> Rewards up. How hard is it to apply logic?
5BTC may sound like a lot now, but back in the days it wasn't worth shit.

giveaways (faucets) have been made to popularize currency.
Something (small amount) you get... and you're interested in a currency

I was the admin of DevFaucet, most of us don't run faucets to make profit. Sorry you think that. Throughout the time DevFaucet was up (and we hope to revive it one day) we barely broke even after dispenses and server costs.

Bitcoin is currently at $935, faucet owners have to get their ROI. So, they adjust the payout amount according to the market value of BTC

Faucets were for promoting bitcoin in the first place, now that the price has shot up to what it is (heck even 9 months ago when it took off) faucets have become worthless. They did their job, but now there's little point.

BITCOIN VALUE UP means  more profit for faucet owners ,So there should be no relation with bitcoin value. It should be constant. If the bitcoin price go up then they can easily pay for server and other issues

just 0.01 btc per year
