This was actually one of the better interviews I've seen in awhile where all the interviewers weren't completely hopeless.

Ver comes off overbearing sometimes, this was not one of those times.

It's weird how the reporter stated "the idea that you are taking control away from the government and maybe putting it more in the hands of the people" as if it were a bad thing.

Sadly we're in the minority brah. Despite how rare it is for you and I to talk to people who'd rather the government have more power than they personally possess, the vast majority of the sheeples actually do feel that way.

State brainwashing is Just. That. Good.

This continues to be a major underlying problem bitcoin faces to adoption... They hear libertarian themes in our literature and wonder "OMG What kind of fool would want to give up all that security??!"

It's hard to accept it, but we must. This means doing the majority of our promotion on bitcoin's assets that they can appreciate, like it being a superior payment network, or perhaps solving world hunger by sending charity where it can't go otherwise.

Hi Roger,

I'm a big fan of yours. About 2 and a half hours ago I found out that you have bitcointalk profile, checked your last posts, found this one. I'm interested in converting complicated videos, but it still took me 2 hours to download this one. I uploaded it now on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yshWm_fsG2w

I hope I am the first person to do it and your offer is still valid.

Here is my address: 1EA3ExQaCeRge3sRHsY2xLPGjmaDtn5R67

P.S. And of course I'd be happy to chat with you if you feel like it

Thanks so much for uploading it!
To be clear,  I offered $30 USD worth of Bitcoin,  not 30 BTC.

I did send a bit extra though since it sounds like this was a harder video to do.

Thanks again!

@Roger
About the "bitcoin is anarchy" part, while your response about volontarism is good, you were playing on her ground (she was able to associate bitcoin with anarchy), so here are a couple suggestions of alternative replies to not fall on her trap:

"you know, in the Bitcoin network it's the majority of the users that decide the rules, so, strictly speaking, Bitcoin implements a very deep form of democracy, maybe the best we've ever seen yet"

and

"Money is money and has nothing to do with anarchism: there is good money and there is bad money. Bitcoin is good money and can be theoretically used by democratic, socialist and even communist governments all the same"
