Why Apple doesn't like Bitcoin. Is there any hidden Agenda?

Maybe because the average user would have problems with bitcoin and then would blame apple for that?

Apple is a genuinely nice company that doesn't want to see people gain money, especially after their loser friend sends them the equivalent of $15,000,000 in 2016 dollars

Once they figure they are losing customers to android for things like this, they will review their policy.

I think this is the most feasible explanation.

My next phone will likely be an Android device. Despite being a long time Apple fan, I am fed up with this policy of theirs.

Maybe Apple are feeling the hands of the US government tightening around their necks. Or maybe they're just twats.

What was the max amount of BTC you could send with Gliph? Maybe it's a money laundering/regulation thing.

Apple has itunes, which in itself is a payment service. They would prefer a future where you pay for your groceries with your iphone using itunes credits or some other 'iPayment' system. Thats why they don't like bitcoin. It's competition, competition they don't earn money from.

more or less retired.

knowing apple, they'll probably register the "iBitcoin" trademark and then sue the bitcoin foundation for copyright infringement. then they will come out with some sappy commercial with instrumental music, and then at the end you'll see on your tv "this changes everything." then in a few years, they will come out with a revolutionary payment system that complements iBitcoin, which is called iScrewyouover
