I believe it could be certainly possible. It was not too long ago that we had a hard fork, can we make sure that this is not going to happen again ? Developers were quick and it was resolved. Can we exclude that it will not happen again ?

Most people who bought recently are probably not aware that the technology is not 100% perfect.

Sometimes it needs just a small trigger to create a panic. And a panic sell can bring us very, very deep. And don´t forget, we were at double digits not too long ago....

No I literally meant per BTC. I really wish something will occur that will cause the price to crash that low, but because of the wide adoption across the globe by large and small
businesses I doubt it will. It doesn't hurt to dream though. LOL!

I will also would like to buy an ounce of gold at 100 USD.
Do you think that this would be possible by the time you get your cheap Bitcoin?

I sure hope so.

Some people don't understand (but still I believe it will change someday) that more expensive bitcoin is, the more people are serious about it. Which means if you ever want to invest in bitcoin you better wish price will be as high as possible.

Enough with the sarcasm. I want honest answers. I'm starting a conversation.

You're gonna have a hard time getting a straight answer around here in a forum where everyone has an agenda and posts BS hoping to influence people in their direction.

Better to educate yourself and form your own opinions.

Here's an excellent analysis of the forces behind Bitcoin pricing.

Yes, we are going to see $100-200 levels before 2014 in my opinion.

Check out the others in the series. I'm making a collection of them all to assist Bitcoin noobs.

I haven't checked yet to see if someone has already done that and made a torrent out of it.

It is very well possible but I don't expect that to happen anytime in the near future.  You can bet if it does I'll be right there with you buying but I refuse too hold my breath.  Wink
