Do you think the EU and US will allow anonymous coins forever: If you do you need to book yourself into a mental hospital!
Same can be said if you trully belive that some coin is actualy anonymous if his dev is know, you really think that zokoo and fluffy pony didnt have a visit from guys in suits buy now demanding to have backdoor/decription keys for it and it return not sending them in jail for 40 years?

Japan might make some news and some exchanges are going to delist anonymous cryptocurrencies, but there're also other states and other exchanges which are not going to care. I think this news can lead to 20% drop of the prices, not more than that. For people are likely to simply transfer their coins to other exchanges instead of selling them. In this case nothing is going to change much. Binance was warned and Japan tried to make it delist these coins, but they just moved to another country instead. We're not in the kind of world where some govs can decide these things and make intrusions into the the area of private business.

I think Japanese FSA's decision has the right move, for being anonymous is not quite desirable. Undetected and untraceable transactions of cryptocurrencies has a lot to do for contributing to the underworld activities like in the darkweb. Bitcoin was used to be the main exchange for the darkweb long before but it was already busted by the authourities but now these private-focus altcoins like ZCass, Dash and Monero are other alternative options for darkweb and other illegal actions which are more anonymous than bitcoin so more of their transactions are harder to trace by the authority.

If Japan financial authorities makes a decision on privacy coins,it doesn't mean the coins will be worth zero. Japan portion of world cryoto is negligible so their decision won't have a bigger impact.
Japan is the biggest player in the crypto market: Dumb ASS

Op clearly needs to improve his knowledge since this is not something new in the crypto market. FUD like this is a common occurrence which is something I normally shrug off since I know the potential of the coins that he mentioned and I know that they are here to stay. Monero and Zcash are 2 of my favorite anonymity based coins while Dash is ok in my honest opinion. Don't believe everything you read on the internet op.

Why are people holding on to Monero, Zcash, and Dash Owning these coins could result in HUGE LOSSES! This news has been out a while and if I had any I would not take the gamble: I would sell! Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) is getting stricter as it has been reported that the regulator is pressuring the cryptocurrency exchanges to drop the privacy-focused cryptocurrencies viz. Monero, Zcash, and Dash from their platform. https://coingape.com/crypto-exchanges-to-delist-zcash-monero-dash/relax don't panic how you can sure that the news link you can share are 100 percent credible about the news, some people making fuds news to make panic and people sell their investment. to make sure if you have zcash monero dash you need monitor your coins if they have potentially goes dump i just remain those people investigate first before make a decision for the righteous of their investment, as i know the said altcoin are in the green in the coin market cap.

Looks like Monero was added to Circle Invest. I don't think XMR is going anywhere. Lots of great privacy coins like Dash, Zcash, and Galactrum will always be feared by some governments because they can function as cash.
But if you want to hedge your bets, Verge can be public or private, up to you.

I do not think if Japan suspends their trading on their local exchanges then it can effect these projects in a big way, as people will be free to trade at global exchanges, so this kind of fud just does not make any sense.

I'm not even sure Dash should be included as it has as default open blockchain just like Bitcoin, it just offers optional privacy to those users that want to have privacy on their transactions.
I suspect most of the transactions through the Dash network are fully traceable transactions and are not mixed with other transactions to provide privacy. Dash is focussing on becoming a decentralized platform to run decentralized apps / services on, its no longer just a privacy-focussed cryptocurrency unlike Monero and Zcash. This does not mean Dash will abandon its privacy option to users, it just means it is offering a lot more then just privacy these days.
By the way, using the word ZERO can be easily seen as an attempt to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD).
To conclude : There will always be a battle between users seeking privacy and governments seeking control

Anonymity has been the most contested and celebrated aspect of cryptos, a debate between personal freedom and national security. The question here remains whether such regulations curb crime or access to said coins. Its a fair warning, and a personal decision, for though the debate is not new, nor the awareness, the fear of regulatory authorities and the extent and repercussions of their curbs, cannot be ignored or factored out of our investment vision.

Monero, Zcash and Dash are the highest coins for their anonymity. If they are banned in Japan, this will change little. It is even possible that such a prohibition will play as advertising for these coins and, conversely, they will grow in price by increasing their demand in other countries. I think that people will not refuse to use these coins because of their high anonymity.

I don't think people will want to relinquish anonymity in the nearet future and for that reason I believe these coins will stay competitive for some time.

Purhapse for others but i don't think DASH will discrese ... it's growing each day.
The Japanese want to delist it! If it is delisted people will have big losses! You say, “ I think” The Japanese will delist and in the future all anonymous coins will have to be delisted everywhere: Bright ass! Wake up and learn bitch! There is no need for name calling if someone disagrees with our comment. For me, I don't think the Japanese will succeed in that threat of delisting those great coins. And even if they do, exchanges outside Japan won't. It will be like the Chinese case of banning cryptos and exchanges moving out of China. It is that simple.
