Well I have been around a little and seen that I can sell runscape gold for dollars at several sites online, now I just look for a place where they buy RS gold with bitcoins.

There have been plenty of Runescape / bitcoin trades here on the forums (Marketplace) and on the #bitcoin-otc marketplace as well.  Runescape is one of the few games that formally allow trading of the in-game currency or any other transaction you wish to make:

Cute idea. I have been thinking that bitcoins could work extremely well as part of an MMORPG currency mechanism. Even if it's an intermediate between game gold and external value.

well when looking at the dollar prices 1mill RS gold is bought for about 0.7 dollars
so considering a exchange at 10 dollars per btc that would be 0.007 btc per million in RS gold.
Help I got a long way to go still for that. about 50 K

Yeah I did screw up the calculation 1 mill RS gold for 0.007 would be a bit to much of a bargain, as 0.07 is a better price.
But there is still a bit of a way to go for me.

I would very much like to sell my 07 and 03 currency.  I do not play runescape but currently have the currency on their poker sites.  Those poker sites are the following:  BetNation, TokenBets and BigBoiBets.

The whole cashing out to your character in the game is too complicated to me and I built my poker bankrolls on all 3 sites from Freerolls.   I have a total of about 23M 07 (which is currently worth around  1.3usd/M.

I'm not a scammer and I normally play poker on us legal sites as well as some bitcoin poker sites.  I do not want to get in any trouble or recieve any kind of ban but what I wish to do is just transfer someone poker chips from the account (as a p2p transaction) and have them trade/barter with me for bitcoins.  In other words I want to get rid of my runescape gold(which again is in the form of poker chips on the runescape compatible poker sites i named above) and recieve bitcoins sent directly to my wallet or p2p transfer to my bitcoin poker accounts.

Trust seems to be the only issue and I would like suggestions from the more seasoned members of this forum.

only thing I can think of (which is not too bad of an idea I don't think) is to find a willing participant and then to many transactions at 1M per transaction (that way the most either of us could ever get ripped off would be...what?  $1.30 usd.

I guess this is off topic but I also am wanting to start a baseball/football cards trading business.  I have quite a few and for now I use Pinterest to gallery picture all my cards so I can send the link to individual collectors who buy/sell and can do via bitcoin.


I would also like to do here in the marketplace but do not have credit yet on this forum and want to know an easy path to start building credit.  I have an Ebay account with perfect credit (over 300 transactions) and I had the opportunity to buy a few times on the BitMit  which went out of business but was really cool.

Suggestions/Concerns ?

Alternatively, consider using an escrow.
The person with the Bitcoin would give the entire amount to the escrow, and then you would send the RSGP.
The escrow would then send you the Bitcoin.
This works better as the escrow will be someone with high trust.
