Hi guys. Recently about 0.024 BTC literally spawned Shocked in my multibit wallet. There was no info on transactions whatsoever, so i couldn't check anything on blockchain. Then, when I later made a transaction (which was the full amount of spendable bitcoins in that particular wallet), it stayed unconfirmed and did not show up on blockchain. So I restarted the transactions and blockchain several times with different dates. Now ALL of the bitcoins just VANISHED, where the hell they go? Any people here having experience with this?

Did you said the transaction unconfirmed ? Do you know if the transaction unconfirm for a long time, we can cancel the transaction or it auto cancel I dont know. It already happen many times. The advise are make the fee larger than before

The bitcoins appeared out of nowhere initially? Something doesn't add up.

This sort of thing never happens on Mbit, it's something wrong on your part.
Maybe you closed the wallet or something.

Remember that you can search blockchain based on your address, not just the transaction id. This may provide you with some insight into what took place.

Ok, the transaction id did not show up on blockchain (I made this transaction after the bitcoins 'spawned'. In this particular wallet there were 0.03 BTC. I made 4 transactions of 0.0051, so the balance should be 0.0096. But when I checked it said there were 0.024 spendable BTC. After that, I sent all the coins to another wallet in the same multibit. This tansaction showed a white square and one peer in both wallets (sender and receiver) and did not get verified.

here is my Bitcoin adress so you can see the details on blackchain 1EDtQuG7DmHBGky8tfd5NNYPcVjbymFvVK note that the transaction I made, sending the remaining coins, does not show up. Also the spawned coins don't show as a transaction either. The balance at the moment is 0.0 BTC, while there should be still 0.0096 BTC in there (as you can calculate for yourself using the blockchain info). Where did my bitcoins go? And where did the spawned ones come from?  Undecided

Are you sure?

https://blockchain.info/address/1EDtQuG7DmHBGky8tfd5NNYPcVjbymFvVK

Searching the blockchain for that address shows it once had 0.03 bitcoins in it (on Nov 27) and then a bunch of transactions of (0.005 BTC) were made on Dec 1 (3 times that day). Finally you have a balance of 0.0096 BTC right now.

Now if you're saying you had MORE bitcoins than that, then you know that bitcoins require 6 blocks of confirmations to be official (approximately 1 hour to confirm). So perhaps whoever gave you the bitcoins in the first place tried to double spend them, and you couldn't get the 6 blocks of confirmations and the transaction got rolled back.

There were 0.024 BTC in the wallet, while there should be 0.0096 like it shows on the blockchain. Now it shows 0.0 BTC in multibit and 0.0096 on blockchain. Multibit is online and synchronized. My transaction doesn't show on both multibit and blockchain. But the coins are gone.

Update
After restarting blockchain and transactions about five or six times the past two days, multibit now shows the correct balance. I still wonder what exactly happened. Anyways, thanks you guys for thinking with me! Smiley

It shows your balance OK now. If you made the 4 transactions of BTC 0.0051 the same day, there is inconsistency with the blockchain dates, the last BTC 0.0051 transaction shows was made on 2013-12-09 and the remaining 3 on 2013-12-01
