this is slightly off Bitcoin topic but this is where I saw the original post: I want to mine Diamondcoin. I have tried to point my cgmnier at a pool but get knocked back. Can anybody show me exactly how to do this?

Hope you've used this format to run the miner from cmd:
./cgminer --scrypt  -o stratum+tcp://dmd.minar.cc:3333 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

I tried to use minar but the front end is currently under maintenance and is not accepting new registrations. I went to coinminer.net but failed miserably!

Will try minar once it's up and running properly.
