Bobby Lee CEO of BTC-China spoke on China's stance on BTC a few moments ago on CNBC. He was also grilled on what BTC is and why it would have value to anyone.
It really saddened me to see someone so high up the food chain of a major exchange seem to know so little about Bitcoin benefits. I really hope that this doesn't hurt the community or price in any way.
For those of you who watched the short interview I'd like to know your thoughts on his responses.

i didn't , but from what you say it doesn't sound good at all It was not. He could not directly answer a lot of the questions that were presented to him. He kept dodging. Honestly, it seemed like he was a total space cadet. Hopefully, he was just nervous by being on TV. |

Thats unfortunate, but he was probably just nervous, the guy is very smart and knowledgeable but not everyone is made for live TV

I'm a bit worried if the owner of China's largest bitcoin trading platform doesn't know the benefits of bitcoin ..... sure he'll be better prepared next time though. There's only so many questions even CNBC can ask to "trap" you. Just prepare reasonable answers for them.

I don't see much of an attack rather what I saw was lack of knowledge.
When he was asked about holding a bitcoin for a year or two what he should have suggested was a paper wallet at least, not storing on websites (inputs.io anyone).

Boiler room is a stockmarket scam that has been around since the 1920s.
If you apply the same arguments, the stockmarket should be banned.

I think what's most important for entities like CNBC is to maintain the status quo. And for people to look as good as they can so they can keep selling whatever they're selling. Being open minded does not come easy to most people (it's something I've had to work on).

Just watched. Poor editing for sure. He seems like an okay guy. Always tough to be interviewed and he may not be used to it.

lol. Bitch and idiot. Hideous combination. I think the lesson here is (a) prepare some answers, and (b) never agree to do interviews that are going to be edited. Anyone can make you look a fool if they can edit out your "best bits" |
