Hi everyone, I've been having a bit of a problem lately and need some advice-
One of my friends was just laid-off and has been saying some really negative and frankly sentist stuff about his former employer.  I really think he has said some very offensive things about her, but I'm not sure how to get him to stop.
How can I convince him how disgusting and offensive his humanicentric attitude is?

Record him speaking and play it back to him a few days later  Roll Eyes.

It's a tough one champ, some people don't take getting fired well.

yea give your friend some time to blow of steam then maybe bring up what they were saying in a humorous manner and hint at how shocked and appalled you were by there comments and hopefully they will be able to pick up on the hint.

What is this 'sentist' and 'humanicentric' thing you speak of? Was he fired by his cat?

He must be very upset for getting fired Sad give him some time, and let him trash the old boss.If this goes on for long, then just tell him ~enough~

Say "Don't be so sexist" would be the easy answer.
What's difficult?  When people say racist things I call them on it.

He was being very biased against the company he used to work for.

I suppose sarcasm does not translate too well over text.

isn't this normal? as long as he's not posing a threat to anyone, just let him be. if you are telling him that he's a bit unreasonable, he might think that you are antagonizing him. if he's an emotional and hard headed guy, there's no reasoning with him. i've dealt with A LOT of people like this before.

He will get over it after finding another job. Tell him to send out his resume to at least 100 different places, and concentrate his time on finding employment.

Maybe you should recommend him to put aside a small mount of money he can afford to lose on crypto. Just to take his mind to relatively more productive things.

Or, he could just get over it.

lol that's just how some people vent their anger? Haven't you seen this forum or my posts? Tongue I'd say carry on and if he's still being a prick either find out what actually happened ( for all you know she could have been a real bitch ) or tell him to stop.

Had a similar situation where I signed up to a QA Testing position where the test was like something out of a school and me and a guy I had only just met their had a rant about how stupid it was outside after we failed Tongue lol that said our rant didn't involve sexism so I can understand why you'd be pissed about this guy just raging at someone when it's just her job.

Don't? The problem might not be your friend, but you. What kind of friend has problems with their friends being upset over being fired?

Look inside yourself, and you will see that you are the bubble.
