I believe it's a response as Mega took one of the qrk domains and pointed it to their mega site - eye for an eye I guess. Silly imo, focus on your own growth - also this may well be the community/enthusiasts doing this vs the coin owners but who knows.

From what i've read. The developer is pretty talented, already implemented an algorithm that scales difficulty to avoid severe spikes that mess with the network

The reason? because their wallet says zero MEC. They were told to buy some when it was pennies each. They didnt and are pissed. I see this sad story over and over.
