Hi all,
This is my first post. Started mining and trading only a few days ago. Most of what I know I learned from this forum, which I consider a fantastic source.
Now my initial excitement is hampered. I bought GDC at Coins-E and made a withdrawal, or tried to. I confirmed it and its now "initiated", but not happening . Anyone else here had that problem with Coins-E? The deposit which came from Cryptsy passed trough quite quickly. No response from Coins-E support either.
As I said, I am totally new to this subject, but could it be Coins-E is a scam? Something that lets you deposit coins but never withdraw them? Thanks in advance for letting me know your experiences!

I transferred about a BTC in to Coins-e to start trading and it never showed up.  It's been two days and no contact from Coins-e on any medium...

Starting to look like we've been had.  Ashame too, because they could really make some money if they knew what they had instead of what appears to be a scam.  If they contact I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: Issue resolved!

I don't know anything about this site, but it could be that they make new accounts wait a few days between payment and receiving your BTC. It has happened to me on multiple sites. But 2 days and no contact does seem very fishy.

Same shit with my coins. Support ticket was closed after 3 days with reply "We are still stabilizing coins-e, please wait".

Here's a blog post made by a co-worker in regards with this situation: http://ongox.com/is-coins-e-exchange-a-scam/

I hope this is wrong because I've made a withdrawal 3 days ago... and still waiting for my coins  Angry

They scammed me for 1000$ in StableCoin and BTC withdrawels which never arrived in my wallet. Appearently due to a forking issue. They never replied to any of my supoprt tickets. I guess my money is gone.

Here is a list with more people that have been scammed:
