Black Arrow Software real or fake?

I have been looking at Black Arrow Software from last month.Their prices are too low compared to Butterflylabs(BFL) and Kncminer:

Black Arrows' Prospero X-1 (100Ghash/second) is $352 only where BFL's 50 GH/S BITCOIN MINER is $2500

Black Arrows' Prospero X-3 (2000Ghash/second) is $5950 where BFL's 600 GH/S BITCOIN MINING CARD is $4680 and Kncminer's Neptune (3000Ghash/sec) is $13000

Black Arrow's Rent-Some-Minions - 6 months for 1000Ghash/sec is $3050 and BFL's 1Ghash/sec for 1 year is $10.83 that's $5.415/6month.Now for 1000hash/sec it's $5415/6month.


As you can see in every product Black Arrow's price is just too unimaginably low.They are based in China which also makes a suspicion in me if they are legit or not.Also they don't allow group buys.They start shipping from February next year.I don't see any other provider offering anything at that price not even close to them.

They have phone numbers for China,Hong Kong,UK and US.So are they real or just a scam?Waiting to hear from specialists here.

Its a real company with a proven trackrecond supplying FPGA miners. There is very little to no doubt their asic project is genuine. Whether or not they will be able to deliver what they promise when they promise,  is anyone's guess, but that goes for every other company out there.

How it could it not be real? And its no different than cointerra's april batch.

Whether you will still find those an unbelievable deal by that time, we shall see in April, but there is no doubt BFL is offering lousy deals.

You need to learn how HTC works.

The bfl stock selling now. Will be completely useless when ba launches. As we go along you need more and more power to get the same coins.

Think of TH as the new GH. The next generation after the x-3 will likely be 10s or 100s of TH and likely the same price point.

Bfl was cheap on pre order. Wait and see what the x-3 sells for in Feb

I think that April launch he was taking about was Cointerra. But I could be talking out my ass here too, i've been known to before.

I'm waiting on some cash and then definitely buying into black arrow. If it ships Q1 it is a really nice buy compared to the cointerra and neptune right now. I'm excited to see how they transition from FPGA.

Yeah, and back then they were rightly saying BFL had a proven trackrecord of delivering FPGA miners.
About one year later than they promised.

Blackarrow so far seems to have done pretty much what they promised. Granted, there is a big difference between producing boards based on FPGAs and a custom asic, but its still unfair to compare them to BFL. Id also add that BA had one of the most conservative public timetables. Thats no guarantee they will deliver, but I wouldnt be surprised if BA shipped their kit before BFL gets Monarch out of the door, and Id be willing to bet that if you order today, a BA miner will be delivered before a Monarch ordered today.

Yes thats when they say shipping will begin in order or payment, which means if you order now, you'll not likely get it before sometime in March at the earliest. Unless you think you will ROI in 2 weeks, difficulty in April and beyond will determine how "cheap" you think you bought your miner, and by that time, almost all vendors will be shipping their latest product in volume.

despite all the hype, I honestly doubt they can ship on time. I do hope they can prove me wrong because I am their customer as well. they priced their product competitively with cointerra though.

Always risk but if you waited to buy one of the X-3 units after they launched, you'd pay 4X an dnever recover unless coins go threw the roof.

Right now an x-3 will make you a few grand if it stays at 900 a coin. Late delivery will kill you.

Unless most vendors keep dropping the ball far more than they have so far, then yes.
If you dont, then do you think CT isnt going to be able to ship 2PH batches each month, or do you think CT and Bitmine together will have more than 50% of the market?

We've seen 7-8  PH added in the past 5 month, and only one vendor has been shipping latest gen miners. Next year there will be over 10 such vendors.

I'm tempted to buy the Minion Cloud service for 1TH worth.

If it pops off in March, and Diff is 6 billion or less, it should do the trick.  

This shit does look too good to be true, with no near competitors in sight.  

This could be the Chinese KNC or the Chinese BFL.   Heaven or Hell.........Purgatory is also a very real possibility.
