Dear friends!
Some of you could notice that today’ listing can be considered as a symbolic event. It’s been exactly 3 months since we launched the Giant blockchain! We’d like to remind you how great the path was. We started the project right away without advertising. That’s why those investors who believed in us at the very beginning were able to multiply their initial investments many times. We basically wanted to show results and prove to everyone that we have our own vision. It was challenging to rise upon numerous scam projects that flooded cryptoindustry.
We remember trying different approaches towards our community, but the most effective one was to implement SCRUM and make it clear for everyone. Transparency was able to make a difference and change the flow of the project. The same stands for our attitude towards premine and trading. We build the infrastructure that benefits everyone equally since we have the same rights as other Masternode owners. We can’t accomplish it without stable network and strong community that shares our values. We do our best trying to make it as huge as possible. At the same time we are reasonable and don’t overrun our budget for promotion.
From a certain moment we started to rely on our reputation and the community instead of listing fees. We hope that in the future more important listings will be brought with your support! So far this very thing became a reason why we’ve been listed on Coinmarketcup. Free adding to the list of market leaders is an example of the right direction we’ve chosen. It is an excellent final of the first 3 month! Nonetheless, we will neither take vacation nor slow our pace. Giant.Exchange is on its way!

Dear friends! We’d like to announce that we’ve decided to step the community role up! You’ve probably known that the Giant blockchain has its own governance mechanism. We’ve inherited it from Dash which invented the Masternode voting. We believe that important decisions should be evaluated by the whole community that makes the project truly decentralized. Since actions sound louder than words, we are getting started with implementing of Giant.Proposals! On this early stage we’d like to capitalize on capabilities our server has, because it can significantly simplify the process of preparation of voting. Every proposal will be published on Discord first; and if it passes primary voting we will prepare Masternode voting.

Also, it’s important to add that decisions should be made by responsible investors, such as Masternode owners. We’d like them to be updated in order to be prepared to vote for important issues. It can become possible through granting them special rights and access to a private chat where we distribute additional information. For this purpose we’ve created a special role of Investor that will be given to everyone who confirms the fact of MN ownership. Please send an e-mail with your Discord nickname and an attached screenshot of your wallet with the open Masternode page to community@giantpay.network. You need at least one enabled MN and a visible IP address.

The rules are available on #rules. The discussion of current and possible proposals is held on #proposals-chat which is available for everyone. #team-proposals has proposals put forward by the Team for a primary voting. #community-proposals is a private channel for Investors where they can announce their initiatives. #voting has a tutorial on how to take part in a current voting.

We continue to introduce to you significant renovations of our Discord!
To highlight and reward those people whose advice are of much help for Giant, we present the system of levels of reputation on Discord.
In 14 days, you can get the following roles by being active:

Community Member - around 13 messages
Active Member - around 35 messages
Giant Enthusiast - around 70 messages

During the second 14 days, Active Members and Giant Enthusiasts will keep having their roles, although they will have to approve them once more, as the message count nullifies.
If the message count is not reached, the role disappears in the next 14-day cycle.

Moderators will be chosen from Giant Enthusiasts. They will join our team and get rewarded with 50 GIC.
They will get the information about our agenda in advance. We will choose the users who:

-Know the Giant products and cryptocurrency world better than everyone else
-Know how to start and to support a mass discussion on relevant topics
-Know English well (Advanced level preferably)

As we've already mentioned, please confirm the fact of MN ownership in order to get a special role and have access to a private channel.

Since we share common desire to switch to PoS as fast as possible we accelerated necessary testing and other preparations for the switch.
We are happy to announce that the new wallet will be released in few hours.
PoS starts tomorrow after the block #71400. It's a MANDATORY UPDATE!
We've already contacted all our partners, such as MN services and exchanges. Crypto-Bridge and Graviex have already disabled deposit/withdrawal operations.
