I really would like your opinion about airdrops. A lot of tokens are giving away tokens via airdrops.
What is the benefit and what will happen to the price of the token after the airdrop is paid?

Benefit is many bounty hunters are relying to these type of tokens by gathering more of it until it gets listed on an exchange.

And once it was there, they will sell it massively and you know what will happen to the price next, it will cause the price to drop due to many airdrop people and bounty hunters wants to take profit.

So for the tokenholders who paid for the token by ICO or whatever it is nog a goodthing.
But with lots of airdrops there is an exposure for the token. The more people know the token and what it does the better.

In my opinion, airdrops can bring a much larger community to this token more quickly and attract more attention.
Although the short-term may affect the price of tokens.

the benifits of project that giving airdrop is boost their community and to attract some investors and downside is when the token hit exchanges most of airdrop hunters are selling already the token they recieved and then priced will massive drop.

Be careful there. Many airdrops will collect your data and you can get nothing. I personally don't participate in airdrops. Although there were good projects that did airdrops like ELIX. But that's rare.

It depends on the project itself. Not every airdrop project is a scam. As far as I know, a project who using airdrop for a campaign is not doing an ICO event. I can give you an example of these project which is still exist until now:

The price of the token after the airdrop distribution might be down, but if the project has a good value, the price will gradually increase.

Airdrops are good for developers only, not for the users. Airdrop helps to get known in the market and attract investors to put their money. Since airdrop has low value in individual account counting (most airdrops gives around $1), it's not the way to make good amount of money unless the coin reaches to the real moon.

Airdrop is a campaign where developers can promote their projects through free tokens participants, which helps their plans reach out to investors. The amount of symbols received by the participants is small and if paid the tokens are not affected too much by the whole price.

No, most of the airdrops don't manage to sell any tokens, meaning that the token is worthless.

there are some airdrop that are scam and do not give coins. I've been waiting a long time after I joined, but did not get anything. I also do not know what causes it, maybe because they limit airdrop participants.

It depends on the project maybe can scam after ICO.
the price after token airdrop distribution is going down but if the project is good the price can increase rapidly.but if the project can't manage the token price will be worthless

If you got paid then that will men only one thing, you got bucks for your work and you are happy bunny now. 

But I doubt that airdrops works like that these days. I mean most of them are shit coins and they are worth nothing so it would be hard to gain much profits. I mean they just give away few tokens and they are not worth anything many times.

I do feel that having airdrops make that project week as they have to give away tokens free to the member and thus making most of the funds go away for nothing.

Airdrop is a market manipulation mechanism, which goal is not only to spread-a-word about the coin, but also:
- to trigger the coin dump;
- to delay the upcoming increase of the demand on the coin;
- to increase circulating supply/decrease amount of the coin reserve;
- and some other ones.

Will there are bad things happen when airdrop is huge reward. Because it may cause a token dump but if the airdrop reqard is just enought i think it will not dump.

Yes airdrop is good for tocken as they get most of the popularity through them let take the example of the coin named (thug coin) its a coin which has gained over 76k members in just a month and i still growing every day also they are doing no ico and distributing 85% of their total supply via several programs and rest 15% they will keep by themselves for the future developnment,so the main thing about the coin is their ongoing airdrops which happens every week on sunday and it gives a decent amount of thug coin also you can participate on their several events as well as you can take advantage of their investment box on yobit and have 5% return every day.

I don't know if Airdrops are good for every token, but they can be a useful mechanism to build an early community. There are a lot of airdrops happening now, and the proliferation of airdrop listing sites, though a few communities do it right in my opinion, like the parachute community. If the airdrop brings around actual community and support for the new project, then it's worthwhile. the risk is in getting spammers who just are out there to get free tokens and care little about the actual project's success, just want a 'free lunch'.
