That would be ideal  Tongue but I'll like to see bitcoin used by more people and places to see the reliance of government issued currency reduced. It would be interesting to see what the world would be like..

There will be two possibilities.
Either bitcoin will be at about 500 thousand or at 0.
The blocksize problem will maybe never be fixed and other cryptocurrencies will outperform bitcoin...

I would like to see them in my wallet Smiley
But seriously - I believe that wjen USA accept this currency asa legal and official currency, the prices for 1 BTC may go even higher that their are now.

$10,000 per coin would be nice

The future of Bitcoin rests on how deeply it can get embedded in e-commerce with the next few years

I'd like to see it dead and superseded by a better digital currency, to be honest.

Better?

I don't think so, that will not be the problem.

In case something is not good with bitcoins, it's possible to fix by software...

I can see only government risks...

I see bitcoin at around #8 and Goldcoin at #1. That just a "best guess"!  Cheesy

Hopefully, it'll be at least 5 or 6 times more worth than it is now. But even more importantly, I hope we'll be able to shop at Amazon and other large online retailers with it. If Amazon ever accepts BTC, I could see it going mainstream and skyrocketing in price. One never knows with these things, but I honestly hope there is a paradigm shift because this funny money the government has us addicted to can't be good for the long run.

Year 2040: - Do you remind how real money smell like? - I guess something similar to my paper wallet.

But seriously, widely accepted by businesses worldwide, online and offline.

I'd like to see widespread adoption from both ecommerce sites and good old brick and mortar establishments.  This, coupled with years of growth and stability enough for BTC to be used widely like a fiat currency.  The potential here is about more than just users investing and profiting from the coin, this could radically uproot conventional payment methods, hopefully to the benefit of the average consumer.
