Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Autopayout was set to 100k since Friday 13.12, this has nothing to do with each other.
It did reduce server-load a lot, but we lowered it Saturday to see how everything worked. It worked good until this sunday, when simply the amount of workers killed the system.
Thats why we changed it back to 100k today.

What about contacting the coinedup exchange and ask if one of the destination addresses are on their exchange - and block it?

If (s)he can't sell it the dogecoins won't be much fun... Cheesy

I think all you can take from this is to learn. Instead of trying to eek everything out to the absolute limit enforce auto payouts at sensible level. halt registrations when you can clearly see the server is about to buckle (it was running like shit over an hour before it finally went down).
I wouldnt bother bringing this pool back on personally, however this hack went off no one will trust it again im afraid.

Oh noes, I logged in to manual cash out some hours ago, about 23'000 but it seems the system didn't make it in time to deliver to my wallet Sad

Hope mpos doesn't save plain passwords or all miners logged in should change their passwords if they use same password elsewhere

MPOS does NOT save plain passwords. They are hashed with SHA-256. But nether or less, thank you for the tip, its not a bad one just to be sure !

Of course there were some donations, but its still one wallet. And this wallet was emptied till 0. So of course you see only the amount that is missing from users. (Liquid assets)

I am very sorry about this robbery. I also lost 20k tonight.: ( With the latest difficulty I found auto pay out to high. Not everybody geared up with powerful rigs out here. I personally would give a second chance, but put auto pay out to 1k.

PS.I loved this pool very much and made me a few coins. Thanks
