Price has surpassed $1000 again, do you think this is the end of 3 digit $ Bitcoin and we're entering a new Era of 4 Digit Bitcoins into the future.

Bitcoin feels less and less like a plain speculative item, with the rise of the altcoin market, greater merchant adoption and growing infrastructure Bitcoin has become an "Economy" A very young one but fast growing at the same time.

Personally i think 2013 will be the last year where you can get Bitcoins within 3 digits.

Thoughts ?

Coinbase still says $963.67.... so wtf are u talking about?

And no, I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 3 digits again in Jan 2014

Screw the 4 digits... the real question is when will we get to 5 digits?

Nope.  We are barely in 4 digits right now...we could see triple digits again on GOX before the end of the day.

Gox is $1035, BItstamp $980, they're all headed up in a slow climb.

We went from 2 digits to 4 digits, so hopefully we have the new spike in april to 5 digits and then nov for 6 digits. I'm ready to just walk around with .001 in my blockchain wallet and have plenty of spending money! yes i have a iphone(dont hate)

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Even when it's close to 2000 it could flashcrash back under 1000 for a short time before moving on up.

I think $990 will probably be gone, as a possibility (meaning bitcoin isn't compromised as a network, etc), after ATH hits $2600.

$1000+ as a full floor around 3k ATH.

Although 3 digit bitcoins are a guarantee again at some point in the distant future, right before zero.

We might spike there for a bit in the next several days, but after that I think breaking 1000 would be very hard. The new batch of investors just now saw that bitcoin does not infact "DIE OMG CRASH" but presents a great buying opportunity on every dip - so the dips would only become smaller each time (all the three dips were: 90%, 75%, and now 53%, so next one logically should be around 40% max).
