There has been individuals having police at their door confiscating all electronic equipment because they've bought ukash vouchers from an unknown source.

The reason the police have done this is because that spender of the ukash is the source the police has. If the recepient has done nothing wrong, they will eventually be cleared, but to great personall distress.

Anyone being naive in the world of bitcoin will sooner or later be the victim of scam/fraud. Always do due dilligence, and it's better to stay safe than to walk into problems.

I have no ide how ucash works but i guess someone can just buy something digital behind a proxychain if there the least worried that there might be a small chance something is wrong with the vouchers origin.

Your probably correct but here someone was giving those vouchers away for free if i understood it correct. It woulden't make much sence if someone first obtained such vouchers illeagally to then give them away free.

But like you say it may be possible that in some countrys people could be treated like you mention without having done anything wrong, surely in those countrys the gov. in question should learn to do there checks better before storming into normal peoples homes, the end result of such illeagal actions by the gov should end up beeing a coslty affair for them.
