New Alt currencies

What is a good way/strategy/place to look for new alt coins to get on the wagon before/if they hit any exchanges etc...

It's a very busy forum though, can be quite hard to keep up, I've enabled notifications for new threads, not had any emails yet though.

You can look for alt-coins there.
