Ugh. Hello. First off, great pool. Second off, I have an issue (of course). It appears my wallet reset and I have a different payment address in there now from the one I opened my account (unusedname) with. I've noticed payment addresses are locked now and I don't see anyway to add more. What are my options?

I have a small balance I'd like to retrieve but I forgot my PIN. Is there a way to reset it? Or can an admin manually send them to me?

I didn't see this thread & thus made an earlier post but! I opened my acct in July of 2012 & just now got around to figuring out my username.. the password, however, I could not remember & now my account is deactivated. Who can I get in touch with to reactivate/get my pw? I know my PIN & assigned email.

Thanks for reading!

Hi Cale,

We offer our users PPS rewards to provide them with a more steady income. To do this, we source the work from various other pools to decrease our own risks of not finding a block. We don't provide a list of solved blocks, because other pools will already report the blocks found by our users.

Hope this clarifies things for you,
MC

Hello. I would like to know how can I change my payment address. It seems to be locked now. I used the original Bitcoin client but now I have to re-synch again and it'll take ages. I will send my bitcoins to another wallet so yeah. Great pool btw. Thanks.

(Copied from main thread)

Dear miners,

The journey is coming to an end.

When ABCPool started out in 2011, we became the first share reseller of our kind. ABCPool pioneered the idea of converting the contract for a share from variable-reward to fixed-reward and reselling it like that.

The idea proved successful, miners liked the low risk and low fees which caused ABCPool to quickly grow to a significant share of the mining market.
Bitcoin is still in its infancy, and is evolving quickly. With the arrival of Stratum mining, part of the underlying technology for ABCPool became obsolete. As we expected, pool hash rate has been dwindling ever since.

After two years, we are now at the point that ABCPool in its current incarnation has to close its doors. The newly arrived FPGA and ASIC miners have diluted turnaround per GHash, and are pushing networking costs up. Hosting costs have become too high to justify keeping the service available, even if we’d increase fees.

We’d like to thank everyone who mined with us throughout the years, and everyone who has contributed their feedback on our forum. You guys made running the pool a great experience, thank you for that!

This Monday (August 5 2013) we will be shutting down the getwork server. Our website will stay up all through august for people to withdraw any leftover earnings. Any balances remaining after that will be treated as donations to cover the losses of the past months. We have also updated our Terms of Service.

It’s not unthinkable that ABCPool will be making a comeback in some other form. Don’t hold your breath, but do send us a PM if you’d like to be kept in the loop.

As always, Happy Hashing,

Chlorine & MintCondition

Just got back from travel, only to find ABC Pool closed and now no way to now withdraw balance.  Cry
I hope that Chlorine or MintCondition will do the RIGHT THING, PM me (unable so send PM with this new account), and refund my balance.
