Verge is definitely no long term hold. It was a mid term play in the low sat price level. But buying here is extremely risky imho.

It is good to have, because it has a tendency to be pumped, but for its internal value, I'd advise you not to buy Verge. There are better coins that you can have.

Short-term because the verge recent partnership has already showed how pathetic this project is. I  remember that this team has been spreading FOMO about a big partnership and that's with the porn site?
This is a joke. I will support it only for short-term and not long-term. It may better to choose another major platform which gained massive potential just like ethereum.

Why bad

1. Sometimes if you just hold it and not getting any updates on the coin you are holding best of luck it might go shitcoin.

PS if you want to play safe like if you join a bounty git paid exchange it do not hold it because sometimes without propper holding it might turn to shitcoin.

2. Holding it with luck no updates about the coin just a one time snenario that is good

3. Be secure that luck may turn bad if you dont keep an update so do it and who know your coin might increase to good level/valu of amount.

I would say not. The price of this coin depends a lot on hype, and so it is very volatile. I would stay away.
If you're a trader, this is probably a good coin for you. But for long term hold I would say no, I think there are much better options.

I am not a fan of Verge as it grew already and performed pretty well early on. I think in the market there are many undervalued coins which would be a better investment compare to Verge, such as, HPB, BIX, UTK and EVE.

Verge is one of the only coin having a real utility and which can be use in real life (even if it is for pornhub). It is for me the most important.

You can buy coin with wonderfull whitepaper... if it is useless, it won't go so far...
