Hi welcome, i'm new too, gl and have fun.
I'm mining only CPU coins for the moment but LTC mining look very attractive, just need to get the fund to start a nice ring.

I'm new to this site and have been Bitcoin mining on a BFL 30 GH/s since November... I obviously got in the game late.
Also, going to start litecoin mining on a R9 290x soon as well.

I've got a developer background so I may start my own currency as well.
Seems like it would be a fun little project.

Welcome! I'm sure most people here wish we got in a little earlier. But don't forget that it is still early.

To be honest, you should ever say I wish I had started months ago because whenever you start, you will most likely always think that Smiley.
It's definitely not too late to start either.

It was not clear in the orientation thread that You are not allowed to send personal messages until you post and have some activity. Well here it is some activity.

I sure though this was interesting news: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

JP Morgan said in a filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office that its planned "virtual cash" would allow users to make payments anonymously just like Bitcoin.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) published JPMorgan Chase’s (Chase) patent application 20130317984, “Method and system for processing internet payments using the electronic funds transfer network.”  The application was filed with the USPTO on August 5th, 2013.
