when did you start mining for bitcoins?

there wasn't even a wallet application, you had to generate an address from scratch

does anybody remember this?

Haha those were the days! If only we could go back to then and buy up every coin we could, I think we probably all done pretty well for ourselves with little to regret though. CG was around late 2011 right?

2 weeks ago but I remember reading about bitcoins in 2009, so sad I never spent 10$ for a couple hundred back then

In a way I'm glad I didn't start years ago, because if I had found out about them, my usual overly cautious self wouldn't have bought any. I would be kicking myself even harder.
