Hi All

Just taken delivery of a brand new 13Th S9 and brand new APW3++ psu and there is NO 12v output on the PSU !!!

The fan starts up but when i test with Multimeter there is NO output !!

Anybody else had this ?

It is a first for me after x20 odd PSU'S.....

I am based in the UK so a return 'might' be pointless in my view ??

Anyone ??

Cheers

5% dead gear  is common for bitmain.

so you got 20 good and 1 bad

A  rma will cost you $$  consider it part of the cost of doing business.

You could ask them for a good coupon  maybe they would give you a 300 to spend on a s9i

How cold was the PSU when you did your test? If it was straight out of the shipping box and ice cold from the plane ride, it might not start. The PSUs are notorious for not starting around 10c and under

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

It was well over 10c mate, luckily i had an aftermarket spare which i think i will just purchase via ebay in the future, at least they can be returned/refunded easily..
