https://i.imgur.com/OJV5yWp.png?4Festival coin (FEST) is a business and use-case driven; community centered CryptoNote based cryptocurrency. Besides providing a ubiquitous completely anonymous payment scheme, we are here to solve a real problem !
Every time you attend a big event or a festival, you will probably face long queues and lose those plastic tokens. Meaning that you are endangered to losing time and money (and possibly your patience).
Those are two examples of the real-world-use-cases that FEST will strive to solve by using its high-skilled business core team, with more than 20 years of expertise in events, and tech-wise by implementing Smart Contracts for personal token generation.
FEST is initially adopting an ASIC-resistant Proof of Work mining scheme and futurelly the Proof of Stake with Master Nodes will take place. The latest which will bring advantages to coin holders and merchants, both on the financial aspect by staking the coins and on the safety aspect, by storing value.
Overall the FEST goal is becoming a secure, fast, easy, private, and untraceable online payment tool. Payment gateways that will open the opportunity for mass adoption of general public. https://i.imgur.com/VgPp1g8.pngSpecificationsAlgorithm: CN-FEST (our own algo) Block time: 120 seconds Difficulty retargets each block PREMINE : 5% Block reward decreases each block according to the formula: BaseReward = (MSupply - A)/218, where MSupply = (264 - 1) atomic units and 'A' is amount of already generated coins One coin is divisible down to 8 decimal places Total coins: 18 446 744 FESThttps://i.imgur.com/3K3dmAG.png FESTIVAL BLOCKCHAIN DEVELOPMENTFEST takes a utilitarian approach to development. From real world examples, use cases, community suggestions, it strives to develop a blockchain that can be deployed and widely used for practical applications.
We welcomes everyone to participate in shaping its roadmap and technology by contributing directly to code development, proposing new ideas, or submitting comments and suggestions.
FEST total premine 5% + 350 000 FEST FROM OLD BLOCKCHAIN (All that FEST were redistributed)

Areas we will strive to refine constantly in the future * Reducing energy consumption of the network * Reducing block times * Increasing transactions per second * Reducing blockchain sync times and resource utilization * Reducing blockchain size * Increasing reliability and security of the network * Secure hardware wallet with biometrics. * Regular audits and updates of the core cryptography to negate the benefits of quantum computations.
FESTIVAL PROJECT COMPANY :
Plan to incorporate a company which will market, develop, maintain, and expand FEST. Company would hire more developers, expand the marketing team, add advisors, and would be representing FEST to the world. Draft Version, This document will be updated based on community inputs.Official Website :

festival-coin-official Creating simplewallet addresses $ ./simplewallet --config-file configs/festival.conf --generate-new-wallet MY.wallet --password PASSWORD config path exist forknote wallet v1.0.9.1.662() Sync from timestamp: 1455950318 Error: wallet failed to connect to daemon ( http://localhost:29081). Generated new wallet: D9CTMkRfsJ594cuvX2pGXNWMFK5ARwxPN1x7bFC5wY5XTZxf12LjWUK5QkMVeSkD6gT532FepdaohRY kt99e9gdF6hyrUgx view key: f45a0505d89e4c3bbb91c3481861c12b2b0c6e43b9de23fa108a48a0db116901 Your wallet has been generated. Use "help" command to see the list of available commands. Always use "exit" command when closing simplewallet to save current session's state. Otherwise, you will possibly need to synchronize your wallet again. Your wallet key is NOT under risk anyway. Starting Mining To start mining: $ ./miner --daemon-address 127.0.0.1:3949 --address [WALLET_ADDRESS] Examples : $ ./miner --daemon-address 127.0.0.1:3949 --address D6WLtrV1SBWV8HWQzQv8uuYuGy3uwZ8ah5iT5HovSqhTKMauquoTsKP8RBJzVqVesX87poYWQgkGWB4 Notice: The first few blocks may take a few hours to be found Connecting the daemon to a blockchain To connect to the daemon to existing blockchain, just start forknoted with the corresponding configuration file. $ ./forknoted --config-file configs/festival.conf To start simplewallet: $ ./simplewallet --config-file configs/festival.conf Mining with miner miner needs a running and synced daemon. http://forknote.net/documentation/

Manager. Need more information. I think that the coin will be interesting, but you need to submit a white paper, information about the team.

Yeah, there was a fork, there was one chain at around 170 and another at 200. You must have been on the invalid chain, delete your blockchain data and restart to make sure you're on the right chain.

yes something happened like someone tried to fork it... Looking on it now but sure best is to delete
Delete the blockchain folder.
On Windows delete this folder:
C:\Users\%user_name%\AppData\Roaming\%festival%\
On Linux/OSX:
$ rm -rf ~/.festival/
