For me, I think Bitcoin is not overhyped. Why?

Because I read in an article showing some graph on the advent of Internet in the early 90s that their growth resemble the growth of Bitcoin since 2010.

To make the long story short, Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies have a long way to go before they get mainstream adoption

Bitcoin was overhyped last year. At the moment, it is difficult to say so. News about bitcoin compared to last year is very small. Most likely, the price is dictated by supply and demand.
I really do not understand what this word overload means. We can see that the current BTC price is very low, but perhaps the BTC will stay forever this price, not only in this time, but after the price of BTC is only fluctuate at $ 9000 price.

Bitcoin is not overhyped. Price should be sky rocket coz a lot of users are using bitcoin as form of payment. This is bigger than any other currency, even the internet era so the bubble will not burst and it will continue to pump very soon.

Lot of users are using Bitcoin as a form of saving the funds, only a little number of people are buying or selling some real goods and services for a BTC

In my opinion the value of bitcoin will go down because it's very slow and miners consume a lot of energy. Altcoins which will be built on less energy consumption will finally be more popular. The problem with bitcoin is that with time the nodes will require more and more power consumption, and it will become dependent on very few huge nodes. Only these nodes will be able to maintain the high level of energy power.

Yeah, bitcoin is overhyped, but i don't see why not. It's actually good cryptocurrency and it's like a father of all currencies

Is Bitcoin overhyped?

Bitcoin is not otherhyped, that's a completely normal thing for the first comers. Sometimes people know only about bitcoin, they don't know about altcoins at all.

I think not, last month almost everyone was already disappointed in Bitcoin and began to sell it, but I was lucky not to succumb to such a temptation and now I'm happy)

I believe that there is already a project that is better than bitcoin, but people already have too much faith in BTC, but in time I think the time will come when recognition will receive another project that will bypass BTC

Is Bitcoin overhyped?

It was not an over hype. Peoples just buying, then selling at the higher price than they buy. There is nothing wrong with that.
If everyone buy low and sell high, the process repeated, bitcoin price will be increased more and more.

This is absolutely true. I read that many people rely on pampas to 20k or even more. I think that this is unreal.

I don't think bitcoin is overhyped, its just that bitcoin is really popular and is the most widely known cryptocurrency there is up to date. And most people who just joined in the crypto world would not start to invest if they dont know bitcoin.

I would say it is still underhyped and undervalued, coming years will be huge for bitcoin, even right now the btc dominancy is low, as soon as dominancy starts growing and crosses 50% mark we will see btc skyrocketting and everyone will be rushing to buy bitcoin causing fomo and even more bulls.

I would not say. Many investors now again began to rely on a large pump and I think that this will be because the market is recovering.

Is Bitcoin overhyped?

I don't think it's overhyped. After all, it's the first crypto and the king no matter what happens.

But I think there are also altcoins with better tech (ETH for example) that excel at some things better than BTC does.

In terms of financial gain, at this point it may be overhyped. What I think you're referring to is the community support and developer support of Bitcoin which is definitely not overhyped, it is simply the best community and devs group. There is some fanatical talk among HODLers, an there's always been a lot of "pump" talk with any coin.

Financially, the best idea would be to diversify in low cap coins you think have a good idea and team behind them. Because with alts it is allll about the dev team, and little about the community.

I would not say that bitcoin is much inflated. It already exists more than one day and just over time people began to trust this kind of currency. This happens in different areas. At first, people do not trust, but over time it becomes commonplace !
