I like this one, I think it could be an easy to recognize brand name. Good work

So I'm having a terrible time trying to decide on this. I need to think about it over the weekend. In that regard, I've sent .4 to kluge to act as escrow. In order to be fair to the contestants so far, no more designs entered from this point will not be considered for the current bounty.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated.

I haven't read the full thread (first couple of pages then the last) but caskal's entry made me stop. Maybe it's not perfect but a really nice branding imho.

I only came on the thread because I'm thinking of getting a logo done and wanted to see what was out there. (I won't be paying .4btc though)

Alright, so I've narrowed it down to three:

newflesh
ajax3592
caskal

I'm still spending some serious time thinking about this, so I continue to apologize for the delay here in picking one. I'm sincerely blown away by these logos guys. You've done a fantastic job.

Hi! I'm looking for a logo for my business, Windy City Bitcoin, LLC. We are going to be operating Robocoin Bitcoin Kiosks in Chicago hopefully starting in March of 2014. Due to the rapidly development of the business, we are in need of a logo. Unfortunately, my strengths do not lend themselves to graphic design. As such, I am providing a .4 BTC bounty/reward for the development of a logo for our company within the next 5 days. This is something that will be found on our website, twitter and on the bitcoin kiosks themselves.

I would like something modern and professional. I would like options with both the name and without the name. I'm afraid I do not have any further help for you than that. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions that may come about.

Cheers and good luck. The contest will end on Dec. 1719th, 2013 at 1200 CST.

I do reserve the right to decline to use any of these logos, however, if that happens I will disperse the .4 reward to all applicants on a pro capita basis.

Escrow can be used if requested.

Update - Contest deadline extended.

I was searching for you the other day on this forum via your real name, but came up empty. Now, I find this.

Hello,

I was loking at caskal logo's and remembered something in my mind that looks strangely familiar and have my suspicious as fellow designer.

http://dribbble.com/shots/1265585-Freebie-the-Dpnto-Ui-Icons

Though as a designer one thing I see in his work for those particular logos are the edges of the logo(icon?) something not right there.
And the share amount of such variety of logos in such short notice seems fishy, lets just put it that way Smiley

Anyways, have a good day everyone , I might be wrong, but as a designer myself in this field for 7 years I just put my couple cents as what I see Smiley

A user with 5 posts registered today? hmm  Roll Eyes

Anyways, I did a comparation picture so you can see that arent the same, if you have that 7 years exp as you said, then you should know that
you can do that shape in 3 clicks in illustrator Wink

https://i.imgur.com/zQctEFz.jpg

http://imgur.com/zQctEFz

Also, I can put 10 logos with that shape right here if you want, so I dont understand the acusation lol

Remember I have to give the client the original vector scalable file my friend.

And one thing more, those icon url you posted, are for free my friend, so whats the deal if I decide to use them.

You can check my work here www.caskal.com hope you get some inspiration.

Hi again,

Well it doesnt not change anything that I have only 5 posts, and registered today for this community.

Anyways, it doesnt mean anything either that you CAN have vectorized version of that, it comes down to originality and creativity doesnt it? And NO, you cannot use the so called "free" icon pack for commercial use as contest entry/selling property, its for personal use only...

Ech, and thanks, I will check out your original portfolio for insipration, thank you again, and have a good day everyone.

Peace,

I'm with you on this, what next? Gonna call someone out for using a circle in a coin logo too?

The rounded hexagon is a bit of a trend atm but to call him a theif is a bit much.

I have been designing for over 2 years now and i know i am still a noob, my only advised,,,, avoid using overly used logo elements if you can customize the fonts to be a stand alone logo then go for it, as long as the concept is their and readable as well.

Guys, Design is not about making your work unique and different than all others. Design is about conveying an idea through graphics in a clean way.

@Shatas91

Sad that a 7 year experienced graphic designer like yourself would spend so much time trying to smear other people's designs.
