"Will using Bitcoin to buy sex trigger a financial revolution - or cause the digital currency to crash and burn?
One or the other people. There is no other way.

In the meantime, free porn streaming sites continue without any scandal? As well as pornsites that use the legacy payments systems to take money?
What's their actual point here?

I'm just sad someone is reading the Daily Mail - horrible rag Although I'd agree with that, there is no point in denying that the porn industry could become one of the biggest beneficiaries of Bitcoin.

I actually thought the porn industry would be the first major adopter: 1) Anonymity for users 2) None of those ridiculously high merchant fees for the porn merchants 3) No chargebacks But nobody ever seems to mention porn sites accepting bitcoins so I guess for some reason its not happening ...... maybe nobody is paying for porn online any more ?!?

If Bitcoin pisses off the Daily Mail and their readers then it can only be a good thing I'm pretty sure bitcoin will piss off the Daily Mail and its readers ..... forcing Brits to use a currency without the queen's head on? Made mostly in China? The Daily Mail editorial team will get all their brain-dead xenophobic readers in a positive frenzy if they spin it as only they know how to. At least they know their audience though

Age verification is a concern. It was mentioned elsewhere in this forum some weeks ago.

A lot of people are still paying for porn. In many Dark Hat shopping sites, I have seen Premium accounts of Brazzers.etc on sale. They were on high demand as well.

Age verification is a concern. It was mentioned elsewhere in this forum some weeks ago. Clearly not, think of all the streaming sites. Think of all the streaming sites you probably had no idea about.

Age verification is just an annoyance on the internet, it can't physically hurt kids so exactly do people have to annoy everybody else about it? Besides, everybody knows that you tend to start picking it up at around the age of 13 anyway just by being more aware of what's going on around you so putting it all the way to 18 is stupid.

Age verification is a concern. It was mentioned elsewhere in this forum some weeks ago. Clearly not, think of all the streaming sites. Think of all the streaming sites you probably had no idea about. Not to re-state my point, but this is what I referred to. Ok, well niothor kind of says it himself, but just asserts the truthfulness of it: It downs't matter that the kid could have watched porn for free on a tube , downloaded it from free or anything else. In that moment a mob of angry activist will hammer us with lawsuits into oblivion as we don't already have enough problems with them.
So, why not? These people running streaming porn sites are often the same people running paid pornsites. It's already a less than savoury business, I don't think they really care. There's some other reason why the porn industry isn't keen, and I can't help feeling it's similar to (one of) the reason why the payments industry isn't keen... and you must forgive the Actor Tom Truong nature of this, but knowing the pornographic tastes of an individual is useful information for the secret service agencies. They don't care whether you pay or not, they want to link your predilections to your identity. Those streaming sites seem to do a pretty good job of not getting closed down, don't you think? I became a little suspicious of their ownership when I spotted an example referencing a specific streaming site (PornHub) in The Economist one time. Y'know, just a casual mention, to give you an idea of the kind of thing they're referring to. I'd never heard of it before then.

Age verification is a concern. It was mentioned elsewhere in this forum some weeks ago. Oh you mean porn sites legally have to verify someone's age before giving them access? And they do that via taking cc details? Another example of "the law is an ass". a) stupid kidz will beg, borrow, or steal a card from somewhere b) smart kidz will just download free porn

Is it so? Then what about those free streaming sites where no CC is required. No verification is needed for them?
