As many people, i like the idea of privacy coins and decentralisation with masternodes moreover having an interresting ROI.
Unlike other bigger names in this area, this new coin is not too expensive yet ... it got me the opportunity to buy a masternode (well i actually have 12 other ones, smaller/cheaper projects, but this time i see a team commited to make thing work, and serious enough to be present every day in the Discord chanel). A community slowly growing, and people helping each other in setting up their nodes.
Incentivizing hodlers to register their nodes every week for an IMP reward, thus being present regularly, makes sense as this keeps things rolling, and the community very active. I think this project has potential to grow over time, and i am looking forward to add more nodes to the network.
If some here are interrested in participating, there are several tutos, documentations, videos and help in the Discord channel to get you on tracks (even for those that are not sysadmins : installation scripts are available to help you).

You can find binaries in my github for Ubuntu 14.04 (x86_64), 16.04 (x86_64 & aarch64) and 18.04 (x86_64)
