I wired out some money from gox on 9th November and it said "processed"

Needless to say, the money still hasn't hit my account.

Anyone got any recent experience of an international wire actually arriving? And how long it took to arrive?

I know its a long shot but hey, its my money, they should at least send it to me  Wink

It's my understanding that for the past ~6+ months getting fiat USD out of gox is very difficult. But now that MtGox is pretty much buy/selling for what most other exchanges prices are, maybe that isn't the case anymore.  Huh

Thanks ..... be great to hear from someone that has either (a) got a wire out of Gox, or (b) failed to, in the last 3 months.

They can't just say "processed" and then keep your money. That's called fraud amongst other things.

There are no wires going out of gox unless you pay a 5% manual processing fee.

OK thanks. I'll definitely look into that. Funny it didn't mention that anywhere in their "automated process". It just took a few minutes to accept my bank details and then said "processed". So "processed" = "stuck in the garbage bin", a case of lost in translation for sure!

I had wires that were marked as processed (or was it confirmed) for months until I finally paid the 5%. The 5% brings the withdraw time down, but still can take weeks.

Cool thanks. I've emailed gox support and offered to pay the 5% "premium" charge. Its a freaking insult though. Never again. No wonder gox has a higher bitcoin price if it costs 5% to get any coins out   Wink

Since they aren't sending me my cash, I thought I'd open a support ticket, and ask whether (a) they will send the original wire out or (b) convert the payout to the "5% premium" so I see the money before I die.

The support ticket was opened a week ago, and its still waiting to be assigned to a support person.

Is this normal? I'm at the end of my tether here. They owe me $3K, show no signs of paying it, and no sign of talking to me about it.

Anything at all I can do?  Sad

yeah that's a shame you have to pay 5%.  No wonder price is inflated on GOX.

I wouldn't even mind paying 5% but currently have no idea how to do that since GOX don't even reply to support tickets.

Current status: GOX have just stolen my $3K. Can't put it simpler than that.

Month and a half already .......... some people say Gox don't even send unless you pay the extra 5% Sad I didn't even see a 5% option when I did the wire out, had no idea it existed
