QRK prediction ?

I've been out of the altcoin biz for a couple months due to work distractions. I stumbled back onto the forum and happily found out one of my favorite coins (QRK) has gone up dramatically. It's awesome, but I'm curious do folks see it going up or down? I'll throw out two predictions:

UP:
- 12/13/13 up to 0.000456 due to btc38 addition
- 12/15/13 up to 0.000923 after crowd catches on this is popping
- 12/17/13 up to 0.00513 with Xmas traffic
- 12/28/13 up to 0.0421 exceeding LTC territory - at this point folks sell
- 1/14/14 down to 0.00330 due to New Years hang-overs
- 1/31/14 stabilized back to 0.01254
- 6/13/14 locked in at 0.0254 for an extended period of time

DOWN:
- 12/14/13 up to 0.0004587 with btc38 addition, and excitement
- 12/17/13 down to 0.0002345 profit takers jump in
- 12/19/13 down to 0.0000432 everyone running scared
- 1/15/14 stabilized back to 0.0001321
- 2/15/14 down to 0.00008212 folks bored with the coin
- 6/15/14 stabilized at 0.0001

So what do you think - UP or DOWN?  Any other predictions? Maybe we should come up with a prize for the most accurate long-term predictions

I don't get the quark frenzy. Sure, I bought a few and I'm up on them, but I'm just playing/speculating there.

My guess is that continued hype will drive up the price short to mid term. If it really is "massively distributed", then it will start to take root and BTC-e will pick it up. If not, it will fall back to where it is now - an interesting curiosity that's good to speculate on.

There are 246 million quarks. So for it to reach the price of where litecoin is now it would have to reach $3.2

Thinking about it that looks unlikely. I take it too many people own lots of shares?

Was quark really cheap in the beginning and few people loaded up on all the shares?

well all crypto is cheap in the beginning (including btc). In my case I was an early adopter, mined a bunch and then sold a bunch. I actually thought I sold most of it but found a good % sitting on my hard drive .

I think there is a lot more up than down but as the video states , because of the superior distribution and the fact that it will only ever get more decentralized not less , the transitions higher will be fairly smooth and I'd say the price will be fairly stable like a "traditional"  FX fiat Debt Currency -

so as it crosses in future the the USD , EUR, AUD and the CHF

^ unless one or all of these really starts to fail the price will i think be much more traditionally smooth  .

big spikes could be had in turbulent times !  

in other words past these initial news items and with first Debt fiat access it will trend higher , but in a "traditional" way -

this and the low price will further attract  "traditional" investors -  Believe it or not some Wall street guys love stability .

On a serious note, QRK might be a good investment because it gets a lot of attention recently. It's not really innovative but it's still way better than most coins out there. The people here some to deal only in absolutes, some say it's the next big thing and some shout that it's a freaking scam. Imho QRK is a pretty good coin but neither as good as some people claim it is and neither a scam.
