I found the Klondike 16, but I can't find any of the Avalon cores for sale unless I purchase 1000 units. I have built plenty of electronics and I have my own SMT station. Anyone have a lead on a nice DIY kit for a 5GH/s miner?

They were selling ASIC chips on ebay in much lower quantities (at a premium) at one point. Haven't checked in a while though. Have you already been to ebay?

Yeah. That was one of the first spots I checked. Seems building is a big boys game...
