Hello, I am running

rpcminer-cuda.exe -url=http://pit.deepbit.net:8332 -user=... -password=...

on my PC with nVidia GPU. The speed it about 25 Mh/s. I know i won't get rich, but I am technically interested and want to get this to work.

The account status page on deepbit.net indicates that I generated more than 1.100 shares, but the Bitcoin balance is still 0 dot nothing.

How many shares will I have to generate to see 0.00000001 ?

I think you mean you are getting 25 Kh/s. Which GPU model you have in particular?
About the 0.00000001 balance, it might appear when the pool finds a new block.
Don't expect any profits from mining BTC with this hardware, you can do it for fun.

You just don't have the hashing power to make any money mining BTC like that my friend. It's strictly an ASIC game at this point.

You might try litecoin or another alt coin. It would be much more worth your while.

You need to wait for deepbit finding the block first

I have no illusion about my hardware (i7-2600S @ 2.8 GHz and nVidvia GT 440), and understand that it is an ASIC game. But I didn't realize that 100+ hours of 25 Mh/s (indeed M, i.e. 25000 khs) isn't even worth a hundert millions of a Bitcoin anymore. I just wanted to get ANYTHING on my empty ewallet without having to exchange €

Sorry to say that, but you probably have to mine at least a month with 25Mh/s to get a some mBTC (~0.00042077 BTC/Month on 25 Mh/s).

And the previous Poster are right, deepbit must find a block to pay something out. Maybe use a bigger Mining Pool.

https://www.btcguild.com/ is one of the biggest. But require that you have a mininmum of 0.01BTC to have a payout to wallet.
