Hello,

I first heard of bitcoin on Steve Gibson's Security now podcast.  He announced the price had just reached the one dollar milestone.
Being interested, I decided to get some to play with.   I invested about 150 quid *UK pounds*.

Hard times befell me and I was reduced to chaming unemployment benifit last year.
Being an honest chap, I told the department for work and pentions when my bitcoin value had exceeded the maximum allowable holdings for claiming benifit and they cut me off.
That was three months ago.  I have been trying to turn my bitcoins into cash for living expenses ever since. This is not as bad as it seems, they would have cut me off anyway.  I refused to adopt the required submissive behaviour.

Well, here I am, both rich and poor at the same time, down to my last 15 quid in the world.

Hurry on a sundown. Lets see what tomorrow brings.
Steve

Hey bro,
So I'm guessing you have about 150 Bitcoins in your holdings right now.
IMO that's enough to retire 2-3 years from now  Grin

Hi Ajax,

I cashed in about a third in April. That was before Mt.Gox required account validation.
Hoping they wont take longer than the THREE WEEKS it has taken so far.
