Feeler: Selling 5x 5 GPU rigs, complete

I have a move to Hawaii coming up and mining just isn't cost-efficient there. I have 5 systems here, with 5 GPUs each I would like to sell.

2 systems with 5x XFX 5850 - Does ~1.5 Gh/s - Would like to get $2500 USD each
3 systems with 5x Sapphire 5830s - Does about 1.4 Gh/s - Would like to get $2000 USD each

and I have one system with a mish-mash of GPUs that I'm going to hold on to a bit longer.

Each system has a gigabyte motherboard with 5 PCI slots, a custom aluminum case that holds all five cards, and extenders. Each is powered by Corsair AX1200 PSUs. These are gold rated 90+ efficiency. Black power button, red reset button, and a blue power LED on the front panel. These systems all run off of a 2 gigabyte thumbdrive. Some have 4 gig sticks in them, which will be included as well. CPUs are all 2.7Ghz AMD Semprons, 1 gigabyte of ram.  

Cases are 17.75 inches wide by 8.5 inches high. They fit in 5U's of space very nicely. The 5850s are overclocked to various degrees, achieving between 300 and 400 Mh/s each. The 5830s are all stock. None of the cards have seen above 80c peak temps, and only then during testing. They never hit above 75c while running and usually run at or below 70c. Each case has three 120mm fans on the front and some cases have cutouts on the back for two 120mm exhaust fans, although they have been removed due to not being needed. Air is currently forced in via the front fans and is naturally pushed out through the rear openings, where it was exhausted and either wound up going to the inlet of the AC unit or exhausted outside.

They are currently running a custom management script, but I will put something else on them when they are sold, one of the more widely used systems that has popped up on the forum in the last few weeks. Still undecided on which one I will use though. These systems all run Archlinux headless and start mining automatically upon boot.

Prices are negotiable. Located near Springfield, MO, USA. I will also offer 30 days of support once you receive the unit(s) although you probably wont need it. Not interested in parting out the systems.

First post updated with more specs and pics and other fun things. The 5850s do about 1.5 Gh/s and the 5830s do about 1.4 Gh/s.

I decided to calculate the cost of the 5830 brand new. I had to guess on the case cost and mobo but I feel I was more then generous in those situations.

Your asking for 2 grand for something that could cost 1,345 brand new. You also cant argue that you cant find 5830's anywhere because 6870's are the same card for 20 dollars more so at most it would cost 1,445.

Your asking around 600 more for a used computer. Like I said way over priced.

Still isn't worth $700 premium on the price.  Well, actually more like $1000 premium, since, as other people pointed out, the hardware is used.

costs 60 dollars I run it and it keeps them super cool.

Considering these are used it depreciates the value quite a bit. The only part in the case that you could ask retail for are the 5830's which are no where.

Used parts depreciate at least 10% but most likely 30%. Ill be nice and say 10%.

We'll keep the 5830's at 130 because that's a fair price for them used.

The rest of the stuff could cost around 700 new. 10% off that would be 630.

That makes the total 1,280 with out tech support.

Lets be honest putting systems together for anyone who knows how to use google is very simple and most likely you'll have to take it apart for the shipping process anyway so that shouldn't even be considered a feature. Next your not bestbuy you cant charge 600 dollars for tech support. To give you an example with dell you can get a 4 year 400 dollar warranty that allows for tech support, free replacement parts AND they will put it in your computer for you.

Will you honestly replace broken parts within the month? I doubt it.

For the kind of "tech support" your giving at most you could charge with out robbing some one is 50 dollars and even that is quite a lot.

My point being that you cant justify a 600 dollar mark up off retail prices when your selling used.

Anyways, this is a feeler thread, and the prices are negotiable. Thanks for giving me a feeling the prices are too high. I'll talk things over with the other party that has money in these systems and go from there.
