Very nice blog, Bitman_Begins. May I suggest updating your About page? This is an example of a WordPress page, you could edit this to put information about yourself or your site so readers know where you are coming from. You can create as many pages like this one or sub-pages as you like and manage all of your content inside of WordPress. Also, may I further suggest that you consider self-hosting your blog using Wordpress.org because you'll never know when wordpress.com may opt to delete your blog. You would hate to have put so much work into something, just to have it snatched from underneath you. I look forward to reading more posts as they become available. |

Nice start of a blog, Bitman_Begins, what sort of content are you thinking of providing for those following your thoughts? Any specific wheelhouse related to Bitcoin or general personal eclectic? Nice name, Phinnaeus Gage, does Wordpress.com com commonly find itself in the position of just deleting people's blogs?  |

Wordpress.org just distributes the script on which wordpress.com runs. You have to host it yourself. The script is free, but you'll have to pay the hosting and a domain. Or run it on one of those free hosting services, like 000webhost. ... Nice name, Phinnaeus Gage, does Wordpress.com com commonly find itself in the position of just deleting people's blogs? Yes they do. They deleted one of my blogs, back when i started building websites and had no money for domains or hosting. |

All it takes is a couple of people to complain about the content, and down you go. As far as a Wordpress.com blog about Bitcoin, one call from the State Department should just about do it. Self-hosting a Wordpress CMS on Hostgator is the route to go. Ultra smoothe, with no worries of Wordpress.com shutting you down. But, one call from the State Department to Hostgator... |
