I own a dedicated server hosting company and thought I may be able to make some extra profit using one of my unused servers.
What would be most profitable for an E3-1270v2 server to mine? And what about i7-2600?
Do you recommend a mining pool? If so, which one?
Please include statistics to back up your statement if possible! Thanks.

There are some CPU-only coins that you may want to check out, Primecoin is the largest of them.

This I was worry as well, but now I just mine only when the coin is profitable and converting to Bitcoin. So this is not issue if you dont hold the mined coins |

I doubt dedicatet servers for CPU mining are worth in a world where botnets can CPU mine for free. CPU coins dont have good future
