@ssateneth Hey. I recently purchased a few units of these risers from you. I have a question regarding them. Due to the unavailability of the motherboards commonly used in rigs, I've been thinking about going with the ASRock Z87 Killer (Fatal1ty) motherboard. On another thread, this post ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=36061.msg4264789#msg4264789 ) claims that the motherboard needs shorting of some pins to recognize all GPUs connected to it. The MoBo has 7 PCI-E slots, and I'd like to use all of them. In your original product description, you mentioned that these risers have some built-in enhanced video card detection feature. I was wondering if this negates the need to short any MoBo pins, or will I need to do that anyways?
This question is for everyone. The motherboard manual does not mention anything about connecting more than 3 GPUs or any PCI-E devices, so I have no information about whether or not its possible to use 7 cards on this MoBo. Do you know of any to ensure that this MoBo will work, without actually purchasing it? I tried searching the forum, but there are only 2 threads which mention this board, and they don't have the information I'm looking for.

As I'm sure many of you are aware, I am now selling PCI-E 1x > 16x risers. I have a total of 250 on hand. They are powered with either a SATA power plug or 4-pin floppy power plug, have a built-in PCI-E presence mod for improved video card detection, are pluggable in any size PCI-E slot (1x, 16x, or any size in between), have extra caps for power filtering, and utilize a USB 3.0 cable as the means for transferring the PCI-E signals. The USB cable is 30cm long. I will accept dollars (Paypal is possible, but I will only ship to the verified address on file. I will not ship to unverified addresses), BTC @ bitstamp rate according to preev.com, or LTC equivalent. I have the right to limit the amount you want to purchase, but hopefully it won't come to that. Tracking number is provided for every order.
Bear in mind, this is the first time I've done a sell thread with a large quantity of items. My response may be slow, but I'll try to get to every one of you.
...
Congrats to ssateneth on a very successful first group buy! I hope to see more in the future.

I do not mine scrypt, or GPU mine at all anymore, so I cannot provide assistance with any GPU mining questions, but I will say the risers have pci-e presence mod built right into the PCB. that means no inserting wires into a pci-e slot to get a card to detect. getting drivers to install or getting rid of error 43 is a different problem and not something i can assist with. its also possible some motherboards fully turn off certain pci-e slots when others are populated. this is an isolated problem and something you need to consult your motherboard manual or manufacturer for.

That's two manufacturers, shipping from china. Eventually prices will drop, I'll be selling them for less when my latest order shows up. There are very few companies making this style of riser right now, and a lot of them are terrible on prices.

I will try. Supplier wants a bank transfer this time. I need money in my bank first though. If I can convert my BTC to fiat and get it into my bank, I might get 500 more.

I checked the BOM for some of the fancier risers (long cable, nice power connections) and I get 12-13$ a piece (including variations using other types of cables). They sell for 16$ from China. So ordering 100 of each material, waiting for them, paying import taxes, manufacturing the components, testing them, packaging them, setting a shop or auction, paying taxes on the added sale value and so on, it's not worth the 3-4$. If you need a few, pay this man 18-20$, or buy in bulk at 16-17$. Here are some material costs samples: USB sockets: 0.80$ USB micro sockets: 0.50$ SATA sockets: 2.00$ ATA cable (20cm): 0.25$ USB cable: 5.00$ USB standard->micro cable: 2.00$ Power Molex socket: 0.40$ Boards and PCI socket: 6.00$

Just received these in the mail will check to see how they work now, I'll update in a few *update* Just plugged two of these bad boys in and worked perfectly, no effort and hashing perfectly. Very good product, feels sturdy and don't have to deal with those stupid ass cables anymore (had to be fully extended and/or right angle for them to work) Great job on the USB risers one heck of a buy! Let me know when you get more in stock

Almost everyone that ordered from me and is in the USA should be getting their risers by today (There's one that lives in Texas that unfortunately won't get theirs until monday). Make sure to leave a review in the thread or a trust rating

They seem to work just fine... Any idea on maximum length of USB cable that can be used?
