Hey guys,

So when I woke up my rig was not mining.  I went to check on it ad it was on an running but cgminer was not running (which is should do as soon as the machine fires up).  I ran the batch file that launches cgminer.  The cmd windowed opened and then closed straight away.  After investigating a little it seems that cgminer.exe was no longer in the directory.  It somehow deleted itself I guess on a crash or a reboot or some such thing.

I put a new copy in the folder ran the batch file and presto up and running again.

  I use 3.7.2 on a win7 64 bit system.

Any thoughts?  Also can I write scripts in batch files (like unix shell languages) that will check for the presence of cgminer and if it is not there unzip a new copy?

Ah nice.  That did not occur to me. I recently changed this to a mining machine so it is still performing some server duties and such.  Thanks!

Hello,

SO autoupdates and antivirus both de activated and it still shut down last night sometime between 1:30 am and 7:00 am.  Maybe I have some other task that starty at that time.  What else could be deleting the file?
