Good news from EU.  Wink
First company in Poland allowed employees to decide whether they want their salaries in fiat or BTC.

Very cool Smiley

It seems like the kind of thing that would be popular with many Internet companies (maybe Google will jump on board?)...

This is good development for the Bitcoin community, I am sure with this news, other companies would adopt bitcoin.

You would when its going up. Not sure what you would feel if it halved in value in the course of a few days and you couldn't afford to pay your mortgage.

Risk is called risk for a reason.

Although I would love the idea , I wound's opt for it right now.
To risk having a 10% of my wage in just two days , that isn't attractive at all. Esp since prices , even in btc stores follow the btc/usd value.

I would opt for a 10%BTC / 90% euro payment at most.

I wonder if they would allow you to take some in BTC and some in fiat?

Although it is a another great step for BTC how many of you would actually take your full salary in BTC?

That's a great idea, really mitigates the risk.

Err ... somewhere in Poland presumably. But since you have no idea about web design, I think it would be an expensive wasted journey  Wink

this is really good, we need more people getting paid in btc, as I would see that as the way the average person would get btc in future. What we have now with buying them with legacy money is sort of just temporary, in the end most people should be paid in bitcoin.

I would still prefer Fiat and decide for myself when to turn it into Bitcoin, but giving the opportunity is great of course.
